Microchipping
Microchipping is the implantation of an identichip via a needle under the skin on the back of the neck. This chip reveals a unique number when a scanner is passed over it. This number is linked to your pet's name address and phone number.

Over the years Abbeydale Vets have reunited many animals with their owners via this device. The most memorable being a field trail champion pointer which had been stolen from Cornwall and was brought to the practice by the Hyndburn dog warden!
